Grameen Bank is Hiring a Professional IT Specialist
Grameen Bank is undergoing a major digital transformation and is now hiring an experienced IT Specialist to lead key digitization, cybersecurity, and automation initiatives. This role plays a vital part in aligning technology with the bank’s mission of financial inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess IT infrastructure and propose a roadmap for digital strategy and cybersecurity.
- Recommend and implement modern core banking, mobile banking, and API integration.
- Evaluate cybersecurity posture and ensure compliance with financial standards.
- Identify areas for process automation and business process reengineering (BPR).
- Manage vendor evaluation, onboarding, and tech partnerships.
- Conduct IT workshops and build digital service delivery capacity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- At least 8 years of experience in IT consultancy or digital transformation, preferably in banking or microfinance.
- Experience with enterprise IT architecture and core banking systems.
- Strong knowledge in cybersecurity (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
- Proven stakeholder and team engagement capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of Bangladesh’s financial regulatory framework.
- Familiarity with inclusive digital financial services.
- Certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
- Cloud architecture, API gateways, and microservices experience preferred.
